Junction Craft Brewing is one of Ontario’s top craft Brewers located in the Junction’s Stockyards area of west Toronto. Since 2011 the company has been steadily growing and now calls a beautiful former 1930’s Art Deco public works building, affectionately known as ‘The Destructor’, home. Junction brands and beers can be found across the province in the LCBO and at numerous restaurants, bars throughout the GTA.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role is a seasonal, part-time position, you will be required to work evenings and weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greeting and providing exceptional service to all brewery visitors
Processing customer purchases in the Retail Shop
Serving draught beer in the Taproom
Daily opening and closing of the Taproom and Retail Shop
Re-stocking beer fridge and retail items in a neat, presentable fashion
Fulfillment of local pickup and 3rd party delivery app orders
Responding to general brewery questions and inquiries from guests
Daily cleaning of the Taproom, Retail Shop and other areas, as assigned
Lead brewery tours and tastings for groups
Off-site event activations
Cash handling and inventory control
Draught line troubleshooting
Other general duties, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Exceptional customer service skills. Prior service experience is an asset
A passion for craft beer and knowledge of various beer styles
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and speaking skills
A personable and enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude
Smart Serve certification
At least 19 years of age or older
Must be able to lift cases of beer weighing 10kg and move kegs of beer weighing up to 90lbs
Experience with Square POS is an asset
Ability to work flexible hours, Tuesday-Sunday

15-20 hours per week
