Junction Craft Beverage Co. (JCBC) is one of Ontario’s top craft breweries and beverage producers. Located in the Junction’s Stockyards area of west Toronto. Since 2011 the company has been steadily growing and now calls a beautiful former 1930’s Art Deco public works building, affectionately known as ‘The Destructor’, home. JCBC brands and beers can be found across the province in the LCBO and at numerous restaurants, bars throughout the GTA and products made for our partners are sold and shipped across North America.

About The Role:

This important role, reporting directly to the Packaging Manager, is a key function within our organisation. You will be mostly responsible for assisting the packaging manager on the canning line, on the label machine, filling kegs and cleaning as well as occasionally helping out with general labour in other departments such as brewing and the taproom.

The role is a permanent, full-time position 30-40 hours per week with flexible working hours Monday to Friday and may be asked to work weekends and must be available for evening shifts.

About You:

  • Work great in a team environment

  • Results-oriented

  • Able to communicate effectively and problem solve on-the-fly

  • Can lift and carry short distances up to 150 pounds (equivalent of a 58L Keg)

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure packaging area, cellar and brite room are kept clean and tidy

  • Prepare packaging materials for canning and kegging while maintaining the area organized

  • Keg and can finished beer per product requirements

  • Prepare packaging for shipping and support distribution team with loading

  • Identify and raise up opportunities for improvements and efficiency gains

  • Opportunity to learn to use and clean the canning line

  • Keep knowledge of company and customer products current


  • 2-3 years working on a packaging line or as an packaging operator

  • Experience with PSA machines is an asset

  • Experience with pasteurization is an asset

  • Interest in beer and craft beverage
